This spacious park is full of surprises. Near the entrance is a well-kept playground next to a series of cages containing gelada baboons. One can drive down the hill to the right or a series of wooded paths and stairs by walking straight. There are several greenhouses before the park descends down through the forest. At the bottom of the hill are small lawns walled off by hedges of high stick fences. Each contains a covered area for a picnic or coffee ceremony. Continuing to the left, there are two bridges across a small river and the park opens into a sprawling garden with rose bushes, palm trees, and myriad other plants. There are numerous paths through the trees as well as trellised arches and stone benches. Although the grass needs to be cut, it is otherwise a picturesque and lovely garden. A picnic here would be simply perfect. A willing explorer could easily go for an hour-long walk through the park.
